Foxglove Farms was started as a biodynamic farmed annual and perennial greenhouse in 2000. While attending a UW Madison, Wisconsin program in 1999 on what I thought was a seminar on how to "start a greenhouse" I accidentally stumbled into the world of organics and a huge lightbulb went on. 2003 marked the year we started growing heirloom tomato and peppers on the advice of my husband. We now specialize in varieties of tomatoes in a range of color including black, white, orange, yellow, green, pink, purple and bi-colored. We also carry every imaginable shape including beefsteaks, oxhearts, paste, slicers, roma, plum, pear and cherry as well as some oddities. Our pepper collection includes green, red, orange, and yellow colors. We also carry the non-traditional shapes such as bull horn.
We are committed to an organic lifestyle and the philosophy of "treading lightly" on the earth. It is not only our business, it is our way of life. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have on our growing methods, plants carried or general questions on culture.
