BEEFSTEAK

Brandywine Sudduth’s Strain - 85 days  Original Brandywine.   Considered  to be the best Brandywine strain superior in taste and smoothness.  1-2 lb pink beefsteaks with delectably complex, rich, sweet flavor that has made Brandywine justifiably famous.  

  

Rose - 78-80 days  Deep pink and smoother than Brandywine.  Large and meaty with wonderfully sweet flavor.  One of my all-time favorites for fresh eating. 1-2 lb. luscious fruits

Pantano Romanesco - 80 days.  Italian heirloom with a wonderfully rich taste.   8-12 oz tomatoes are deep red and scalloped and meaty.  Great production on vigorous plants

MEDIUM/LARGE

Wisconsin 55 - 78 days  Bred in the 1940’s by UW Madison.  Smooth,  8 oz tomatoes with great flavor and lots of sweetness.  Productive in a wide variety of conditions.

Arkansas Traveler - 80-85 days  Medium pink tomato that is smooth.  Heirloom from Arkansas.  Tolerant to heat, humidity, crack and disease resistant.  Excellent flavor.



Eva’s Purple Ball - 70 days  Dark pink 6 oz fruit brought from the Black Forest region of Germany in the late 1800‘s.  Huge yields of luscious, sweet, juicy round fruit .

EARLY

Stupice - 60 days - Indeterminate.  Best early tomato I grow in my garden!  Little red tomato from Czechoslovakia.  Small, round fruits are juicy and tangy with disease-resistant, potato-leaf foliage.  Stupice is pronounced Stoo-PEECH-ka.

Amish Paste - 85 days  The ultimate paste tomato.  Giant, 8 oz blocky Roma-type tomatoes have delicious red flesh that is perfect for paste and canning.  World class flavor and comes from an Amish community in Wisconsin.

 

 

Polish Linguisa- 75 days  This is one of the best paste tomatoes we know, it makes sauce so good and sweet that you wouldn’t even have to add flavoring to it.  Tomatoes are large, at least 5” long and shaped like a banana pepper.  Very few seeds and extremely meat with a rich, sweet flavor.  Heirloom from Poland 

San Marzano - 78 days.  Italian heirloom.  Compact and prolific plants produce bright red plum type, 2-3" fruit over long season.  This paste tomato has pointy ends, heavy walls and little juice so it's great for sauce.  Better tasting than Roma.  Crack resistant.  SOLD OUT FOR THE SEASON

CHERRY

Sungold - 57 days.  Very sweet, tropical fruity tasting cherry tomato that produces a ton of fruit.  Bright orange-yellow cherry tomatoes taste not just sugary but also fruity and delicious.   Personal favorite of customers.
 
 
Tommy Toe- 70 days  Long clusters of brilliant red elongated cherry tomatoes.  Very sweet, complex flavor is delicious and is a favorite for size and flavor. Australian heirloom

Riesentraube - 75 days  Means "giant bunches of grapes" in German.  Flavorful, oval, red fruits have a pointed end and are produced in bunches of 20-35.  Indeterminate.  Back by popular demand.

Red Cherry - 68-70 days  Tons of 1 1/4" fruits.  Delicious, red, round juicy cherry tomatoes.  Perfect for salads or right off the vine.

Green Zebra - 75 days  Unique 3 oz. salad tomato that ripen to chartreuse with lime-green stripes.  Flavorful sweet and rich tasting with a sweet, zingy sharp taste.

“True” Black Brandywine - 80 days  True Black Brandywine was bred in the 1920s.  Great-tasting tomato is extra large and full of the deep, earthy and sweet flavor. Yield is heavy, and plants are vigorous.  Superior for salsa and cooking.  VERY LTD. SUPPLY

 
Kellogg’s Breakfast - 80 days  A giant, beautiful, orange beefsteak.  The fruit are very flavorful and superbly sweet.  Delicious heirloom is from West Virginia.

Ananas Noire or Black Pineapple - 80 days Fruits are an unusual green, yellow and purple.  The flesh is bright green with deep red streaks.  They are beautiful and unique looking and the flavor outstanding being both sweet and smokey, with a hint of citrus. VERY LTD. SUPPLY

Pineapple - 75 days  Gorgeous, orangey-yellow fruit with red marbling.  One of the most beautiful tomatoes we sell.  Very large, up to 2 lbs.  Luscious sweet and fruity flavor.

Tomatillos


Green Tomatillo - 75 days  Mexican husk tomato, prolific 2” sweet fruits ripe when fruits burst through husks.  Blended with hot peppers to make traditional Mexican green sauce.



Purple Tomatillo - 75-85 days  Rare heirloom variety, prolific 1-½” fruits with dark purple skin in paper husks.  Sharper flavor than green tomatillos.  Very sweet.  Limited Supply
